My wife is on an Australian-issued Multi Non-O visa, valid for 90 days in Thailand. If she leaves toward the end of that first 90-day period and returns, will she be stamped in for another 90 days, thus keeping that original sticker alive? Can we repeat that process each quarter (flying out each time)?
The reason for asking is that because she is under 50 and I'm over (on an Australia Non-OA), we went through the process of linking her as a trailing spouse last time around. We maxed those original OA and O visas for the allowed two years. We have recently returned with new OA and Non-O's, and we have travel booked every quarter, which, if my theory is correct, then we wouldn't need to go through the spousal linking process. Thanks in advance.
TLDR : Answer Summary
Yes, your wife can exit Thailand before her Non-O visa expires and re-enter for another 90 days, effectively renewing her stay each quarter. As long as she has a valid multi-entry Non-O visa, there is no requirement for her to undergo the spousal linking process again. She can maximize her time in Thailand by utilizing this method, allowing for nearly 15 months of stay within a year.
