Can I extend my multiple entry Non-O visa based on marriage instead of leaving every 90 days?

I am currently on a multiple entry non O visa based on marriage and usually leave the country every 90 days. My next 90 day cycle is up on 2nd January, which is rather awkward for me to leave. Am I able to get an extension on the 90 days at Chaeng Wattana? If so, what is required? Many thanks for any useful answers.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquires about extending their multiple entry Non-O visa based on marriage instead of leaving the country every 90 days. Responses indicate that they can leave anytime for a 90-day reset, as the visa allows unlimited re-entries. Alternatively, they can apply for a 60-day "visit family" extension at Chaeng Wattana if done before 45 days of the current stamp's expiration, requiring various documents such as marriage certificates and a Thai ID.

As you are working at TCSS, (your photo is on their page), why not move onto An extension based on employment ?

I'm aware. Thanks.

@David ******
was an option that you should be aware of, so I mentioned it.

Irrelevant because my employment situation will soon change and it is not really to do with the question I asked.

relevant in so much as it would be cheaper and negate the need for visa runs and border bounces.

That's a long irrelevant story.

nope you can't :(

You do realize you don't have to wait for the 90 days to come up to bounce out and back in because that visa is unlimited re-entries right?

You can go when ever you want to and will get another 90 days.

IF you don't want to bounce out and back you could apply for a 60 day "visit family" extension of stay for 1900baht. wife, marriage certificates, thai i/d house, book listing, copies of your passport and you should be good to go. You can apply for that 60 day extension when you have 45 days or less left on your current stamp.

ok, this time I came on a 60 day tourist visa issued in London Thai Embassy, last time I extended 30 day tourist visa at Changwattana Embassy, so Iโ€™m guessing that was my mistake, I should of applied for the 60 day visit family extension...

it's NOT a visa :/ It's a 60 day extension based on marriage to a thai or raising half thai children here. It can be issued once per entry is good for 60 days and costs 1900baht.

So IF you were told by passport control you need a VISA you need to get one BEFORE you come here (like a tourist visa, or a Non-O visa based on marriage, etc).

Hi Todd, what is the family visitor visa, and how much is it? How many days does it give, and how many times can it be extended? So far I have always used tourist visas, and this time they told me, I have to change visa otherwise they will ban me from entering again... any advice... thanks ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป

@David ******
no proof of funds for the 60 day visit family extension and yes the TM.7 application for extension of stay is the form you want.

Also, Is it the TM7 form that I need to apply for it?

Thanks Todd. The extension of stay was what I was aiming for. Are proof of funds necessary?
