Hello guys. My mother would like to visit me and spend a month in Thailand. She is a Hungarian passport holder so she does not need a visa for this period of time. My question is if she changes her mind and decides to stay two months, can we extend her stay one month more without leaving Thailand that costs 1900 thb? I know this was the rule before but would like if you could confirm this rule still exists. Thank you very much for the info.

TLDR : Answer Summary
A Hungarian passport holder visiting Thailand can initially stay for 30 days without a visa. If she wishes to extend her stay for an additional month, she can do so by paying a fee of 1900 THB. This rule still exists, allowing visitors from Hungary to extend their stay under the current immigration regulations.
From 29th August 2014, the Immigration Bureau will allow citizens of 48 countries and Hong Kong SAR to get a 30-day extension of their stay in Thailand after the expiry of their normal period of stay. It will apply to visitors holding travel documents of Australia, Austria, <...>Hungary,<...>
