Got a friend arriving with a uk passport and wants to stay for 45 days. She will get 30 days on arrival i believe. How dies she get an extension for the other 15 days? Will be living in Hua Hin.
Grateful for advise.

TLDR : Answer Summary
A UK passport holder arriving in Thailand can initially stay for 30 days, but to extend her stay by an additional 15 days, she can apply for a 30-day extension at the local immigration office in Hua Hin, either at BluPort Mall or the main office. The extension costs 1900 baht and requires proof of accommodation, such as a hotel booking. It's important to note that she is allowed one extension on her entry stamp. Alternatively, she could consider applying for a 60-day visa online before arriving.
I would get 60day setv online evisa.that way the airline staff cannot refuse..But in the past i have done same 30visa exempt and qued at immo for extension..personally 60day single entry £30 is best option
check with airline they will let them on if its a 45 day return ticket,as they may refuse if they do not have a visa to cover the extra 15 days,if theyve got a bit of time left before they leave uk do the online evisa ,saves the hastle of going to immigration when they get there. £30
