Hello everyone. I heard that if you are currently allowed to enter and stay visa-free for 30 days, you can apply for an extension of 30 days, for a total of 60 days. Is this true? How do I do this? How much will it cost? Thanks.

TLDR : Answer Summary
Yes, you can extend your 30-day visa-free stay in Thailand by applying for an additional 30-day extension. You will need to submit a TM30 form, which verifies your address in Thailand. The cost for the extension is approximately 1900 Thai Baht. Several users shared their experiences, indicating the process may depend on your nationality.
I am Canadian and extended my stay for 30 days yesterday, a 1900 bhat fee. After that I will do a visa run and stay an additional 60 days. I was here last winter as well, did the same thing. Last winter the visa exemption when arriving was for 45 days. Namaste
done regularly dependant on your country/passport, though when applying for the extra 30d they require a TM30 form proving your address issued by your landlord/hotel
