Hi. I am in Malaysia right now. I have been at the embassy to apply for a two month tourist visa. When I got my passport I could hardly believe my eyes. I got 3 month. Does that mean I still can go to Immigration Office where I live in Thailand and get one month more?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user applied for a 2-month tourist visa but received a 3-month visa instead. Although they have 3 months to enter Thailand, the visa only allows a 60-day stay upon entry. They can extend this stay for an additional 30 days at a local immigration office for a fee of 1,900 Thai baht.

The replies above are correct.

You will get 60 days when stamped into Thailand and you can extend it for added 30 days at Thai Immigration 1,900 Thai baht fee.

Good luck..

You get 60 days on entry and yes you can extend that at a local immigration office. (Edited) for a further 30 days.

You have 3 months to enter Thailand, but your visa is still only good for 60 days.
