TLDR : Answer Summary
The general advice is to avoid using the 400,000 baht in the bank until your marriage visa extension is fully stamped and approved, which typically takes place after the consideration period. While some individuals have mentioned they were never asked to prove funds while their application was under consideration, it is recommended to be cautious and keep the funds intact until the extension is confirmed. Additionally, it's suggested that the money should be restored to the required amount at least two months prior to any subsequent application.

Keep it there until the 1 yr extension is stamped In and make sure it is back up, 2 months prior to next application.

You may use it at your own risk, as once you are under consideration there are usually no problems.

I recommend not.

In my experience at Chiangmai immigration they have never asked me to prove funds for under consideration, but things may have changed . Play is safe and don't touch it until you get your extension stamp.

same here. Two extensions in Chiang Mai and never asked to see anything after the 30 days. I kept the money in just in case though.

Better not touch it to be safe.

I think has to be back in 2 months prior

To applying again

Generally you shouldn't do anything that changes your situation until you get the full 1 year extension stamped into your passport.
