Can I apply for a Non-O visa based on marriage to a Thai citizen while in Thailand?
Hi all. I have a question about visa. I am married to a thai,so when i come back again to Thailand i will like to make a non o visa based on married to a thai,is it correct i can do that in thailand? And is it correct understanding that i only need the 400.000 bath in a thai account 2 months before i want to do the 1 year extension and not to make the non o visa. Thanks

If you apply for the initial Non-O in country you need the 400k banked for that

You do in your country before coming and can extend when here.

All of this is generally correct. But you'll need to check with your local immigration office when you arrive as they may have different rules.

so you need to go there when you arrive and ask them for the handout for converting to non-O based on married to Thai and also for the handout for the 1 year extension.Stefan *******
