I live in a border area currently under evacuation notice so everything is closed. Can I do my annual renewal anywhere or must it be done in the same province or the same office (closed)?

Any advice welcome

TLDR : Answer Summary
The individual seeks advice on renewing their annual visa given that their local immigration office is closed due to an evacuation notice. Responses suggest checking the specific immigration policies, calling relevant authorities for clarification, and considering alternative offices if accessible. There is concern regarding the unique circumstances caused by current events in the border area.

What province are you in?

Have you actually checked the immigration office is closed?

do you know which bank they were with? The certified balance must be issued same day as the application.

no, they were both doing 90 day reports rather than extensions. By certified balance I assume you mean the letter from the bank to immigration? I'm pretty sure this can be up to 7 days old and just the bank book needs updating on the day. If your bank isn't open I guess you might need to head to Watthana Nhakon or somewhere nearby to get the letter

With this border war going on these are extraordinary circumstances, hopefully local immigration has a plan B.

TM7 check, bank statement check, kevlar vest and helmet check.

Normally an immigration office will only deal with people from that province.
