What should I do if my volunteer visa is registered in a different province from where I live for my 90-day report?

Out of province visa & 90 day report.

Hoping for some advice on this. Some time back I was able to obtain a volunteer visa through an agent because I was unable to get my B visa processed. It was an emergency situation as I needed a visa solution, and paid a fair bit for it.

Thing is though, the visa is registered to another province and not the one I am living in.

I want to do a 90 day report but concerned about my visa being registered to one province and me living in another province.

Has anyone had a similar situation?

Thanks.

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user is seeking guidance about their volunteer visa, which is registered in a province different from where they reside. They express concern about the implications for their required 90-day report. Responses suggest contacting the agency that issued the visa, as some foreign residents faced similar situations and indicate complications from using non-standard visa acquisition methods. Concerns were raised about the potential legal ramifications, including fines and bans for failing to report correctly.

Another dodgy visa. Would you want people in you're country with false visas

Dial back the rhetoric a notch or three
@Ric****
, and there's no need to resort to name calling.

While you may not like the fact that people go down these avenues to get visas/extensions to stay, you sure don't look like a thai person to me, meaning you don't have a dog in this fight.
Steve *******
Phil Jones Apparently the OP's visa isnt "legit". As
@T**
says it's a real visa but it's been fraudulently obtained making it far from legit.
Tod *********
I think you misunderstand
@St***
, it's real visa/extension stamps from real immigration offices by real immigration officers. There is a clause in the Police Order concerning visa/extensions and it says "or at the discretion of the issuing officer" that means they can issue any visa/extension they want for any reason they want whether you meet the requirements or not.

Those visa/extension stamps are real, they're in the immigration database and people are indeed allowed to stay here on them..
Steve *******
@T**
Exactly what I said it's a real visa/extention of stay as opposed to counterfeit, but if it's fraudulently obtained, which we know many are then it's surely 'dodgy'.
Steve *********
@Tod ********
most fake visas are issued by immigration officer in office with real stamps but are cheaper than official means, but money goes direct to officer(s).

This still undermines those who try and do things the right way.
Steve *******
@Steve ********
The point Im making is they're not fake visas, they're just fraudulently obtained which surely makes them dodgy.

@Steve ******
, would agree 100%

No Richard - you're just a prick
Tod *********
Actually
@Ric****
, you're totally incorrect

Those 90 day Non-O visas and the year extensions are in fact REAL stamps from real immigration offices by real immigration officers AND they're in the data base too..

And you question about would you want people in your country with false visas is a foolish question, this ain't your country OR my country so what these people allow isn't any concern of ours in the least :P ;) :O
Steve *******
@T**
To be fair they are 'dodgy visas'. Even though they're 'real' visas and extentions of stay they have been fraudulently obtained.

Be careful what you post. It isn’t only Farangs that have access to your posts and any subsequent replies....just sayin’

I have a one year extension in one province and filed a 90 day report in another province in which I live. No question s asked. Your experience may vary.
Tod *********
And this is the problems that we see with people who handed their passport and a pile of money to an agent/agency that went to a province you don't live in, used an immigration office you don't go to, got a Non-O visa and then a year extension from a foundation you never volunteered for :O

You run into problems with those back-door, b/s, under the table volunteer visas (which BTW: are really totally authentic stamps by real officers at real offices, just gotten via 'alternate means')

What is the reason you don't wanna contact them and have them to your 90 day reports for you for the whole year (like most agencies do for people they pull volunteer visas for)?

Theres no reason i dont want to contaxg the agent. Not sure how that's implied. I wanted to find out if anyone had issues doing it themselves with this kind of situation

Fine up to 5,000 and possibly arrest says on immigration site. You can also be banned from re entering in the future back into Thailand
Tod *********
I think you need to dial the paranoia back a notch or three there
@Di***
, The fine for failure to file a 90 day report is actually just 2000 baht whether you're 8 days late or 8 months late.

IF you were arrested for something else though and they found out you didn't file 90 day reports they could find you up to 5000baht and 200 baht a day until you did file a 90 day report again.

What? It's 90 day report Diana. Lol. Are you confusing this with overstay?
Diana *****************
@Matt *******
oh 😂 i just see all these rules here they confuse me and afraid to always break rule here
Tod *********
contact the agency that got you that volunteer visa for :O You are NOT gonna be able to do a 90 day report on your own with a b/s under the table, back door, volunteer visa from a province you don't live in based on volunteering for a foundation you can't pronounce let alone ever volunteered for.

Believe me I'm not judging you I'm saying what it really is.. There are many many foreigners in that situation and the agencies need to do the 90 day reporting for you OR you just don't do 90 day reporting. Those are the two choices
Vic *********
Pay the agent to do it for you.
Tod *********
I could be wrong but I'd bet dollars to durian it's this foundation;

Is that it
@Ma**
?

Thanks all. I tried to do it online but won't go through, unfortunately.

I can pronounce the foundation lol (I speak Thai). It was a visa based on learning about Buddhism (which ive studied too actually), but I realise that's beside the point. Thanks all.
Marine *********
When its first time

2 time do it online
Marine *********
Just let the agency do the report for you

And pay 500 bath for it

Best choise
Vic *********
@Tod ********
You could try doing it online using an address in the correct province or mail it in. It may work and it may not.

@Tod ********
what are the consequences of not doing the 90 days report, only a fine or prison?
