TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion focuses on whether it's possible to cancel an ED Visa in a province different from where it was issued. Generally, it appears that extensions of stay must be cancelled at the original issuing office with appropriate documentation. Participants suggest contacting the immigration office in the current province for clarification, though the consensus is that cancelling might require returning to the original office.

all you can do is go to the immigration office you're thinking of using and ask them. Worst they can do is tell you to go back to where you got the extension to cancel it ;)

Plus, are you on an Ed visa or an Ed extension of stay?

you cannot, :/ as a rule extensions of stays need to be cancelled at the office that issued them with the documentation from your school/uni.

You can travel to most provinces, albeit with quarantine.
