Can I Complete My Visa Extension Without Returning to the Original Immigration Office in Thailand?

I've recently received the 30 day extension (emergency/Covid- I've used all other applicable extensions prior to this). I was given the "under consideration/must return" stamp. Now, I've obtained the visa in Buriram & the way I understand it, you are required to return to the same immigration office to receive the rest of your time- so you get the initial stamp, come back 2 weeks later for the final stamp allowing you the 30 day total. I am currently back in Bangkok & was a bit concerned about travelling all the way back to Buriram; I'd heard there may be little to no public bus transportation, & possble quarrantines when changing provinces, etc. Not to mention it's probably safer not to travel if possible. So, does anyone happen to know if there is any way to go about completing the extension process without travelling back to the same immigration office in this case, other than simply overstaying for 2 weeks? Thank you.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user received a 30-day visa extension due to COVID-19 but is concerned about the need to return to the same immigration office in Buriram for the final stamp. With travel restrictions and safety concerns in Bangkok, they inquire if there are alternate ways to complete the process without overstaying. Community comments emphasize the importance of following immigration procedures and returning to the specified office to avoid potential legal issues.

Sorry, but I close this topic. You follow the guidelines of your Embassy and the Thai Government.

You got a stamp in your passport and told to report again on ../../.. date.

And that report is in the same office.

All the changes mentioned have nothing to do with the stamp and the order you got.

I appreciate it as well- the normal guidelines are well understood; it just gets a little confusing as the situation changes daily; in this case, I'd read on The Thaiger that buses- (not exactly sure if this means all or just some), would cease to run until April 30th. So the confusion came about when- what if you cannot get back to the office in which you began the process. I also have been a little unclear as to moving between Provinces. There seemed to be some conflicting info as to a mandatory quarantine if you'd been in high risk areas (not sure if Bkk is considered high risk). Anyway, while these may not be questions related directly to visas, the current conditions can affect the process of obtaining the visa. Anyway- keep up the good work guys!

We're not a travel advice group, but there is no restrictions traveling between regions in Thailand. We aren't a travel group, but you can hire a taxi to take you there, or rent a car and drive (if you have a Thai drivers license).

Travel restrictions are inside Thailand for a few weeks, but you ignored them once, so keep on going and ignore them again.

if you have the Under Consideration stamp you go back to the same office as mentioned in the stamp.

Do not overstay, as we do not know if the borders are open in two weeks it could be costly experience with jail and court sessions. Not the best way to end your holiday.
