My tourist visa extension runs out on the 20 th of this month, I have a letter from the British Embassy asking for an extension . Patong immigration office is closed, and patong is under lockdown , should I try to visit Phuket town immigration tomorrow or wait for more information before the 30th.

You are covered on the "free-2-stay" amnesty until the 30th. No one knows what will happen after that. All you can do is sit tight and wait until the government announces what happens after that

Sit tight until the 30th, it will more than likely be extended until the end of may. Keep checking for flights.

You are best off to sit tight in Patong and wait for news before the 30th which will come. There are many many people in the same boat. It's too hard to try and get anywhere in Phuket currently plus you have no need until 30th. You'd need a letter from the district office just to get out of Patong and you won't get one for this. They will just tell you to stay put

All you can do is to try to get a flight back to England, you can get permission to travel to Krabi or Surat Thani Airport to fly to Bangkok.

If you can not get a flight, you are okay until 30 April and we have to wait what will be announced.
