Is it possible to do my next Non-O extension in another immigration office rather than Cheang Wattana?
- It's a Non-O based on marriage and having a Thai kid. (currently extended for a year already)
- All the previous paperwork and funds are available to show.
- I have my name in the House Registration (Yellow book) of that province
- Got married there and even did my driving License in that Province. (They have my information almost everywhere).
- Haven't done my TM.30 yet but I'll do it soon.
As usual thanks a lot if you can help me out or if you have any information on the topic. :)
TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is inquiring about the possibility of extending their Non-O visa based on marriage and child in a different immigration office rather than Cheang Wattana. They have all required documentation and are registered in the local House Registration. The responses indicate that extensions should ideally be done at the immigration office corresponding to the area of residence, and that doing the TM30 form in the new province would support this. This reflects a common concern for expats regarding visa extensions and local immigration processes.
