Is it possible to do my next Non-O extension in another immigration office rather than Cheang Wattana?

- It's a Non-O based on marriage and having a Thai kid. (currently extended for a year already)

- All the previous paperwork and funds are available to show.

- I have my name in the House Registration (Yellow book) of that province

- Got married there and even did my driving License in that Province. (They have my information almost everywhere).

- Haven't done my TM.30 yet but I'll do it soon.

As usual thanks a lot if you can help me out or if you have any information on the topic. :)

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is inquiring about the possibility of extending their Non-O visa based on marriage and child in a different immigration office rather than Cheang Wattana. They have all required documentation and are registered in the local House Registration. The responses indicate that extensions should ideally be done at the immigration office corresponding to the area of residence, and that doing the TM30 form in the new province would support this. This reflects a common concern for expats regarding visa extensions and local immigration processes.

I just moved from Bangkok to our hometown to live with my family. It's going to be such a drag to drive 3hours to go to Cheang Wattana just for my Visa and 90 days.

(My account on the immigration system has bugged since last year, I can't do my 90 days online)

Whereas the immigration office of that province is just 30mins away and doesn't have as much people queuing up all the time.

Go file a Tm28 change of address form & a new TM30 at the immigration office where you live and while you're doing that ASK them about the year extension and the documentation requirements at their office .

Because unless you hold an address IN Bangkok you can't use C/W as the office to get your yearly extensions any more

Nope, you can't pick and choose, since they went to zone immigrations you get the extension at the immigration office where you live.

What's the problem with you doing your extension in the province you live in? Sounds like you meet the requirements...

You apply for an Extension of Stay at the Immigration Office that serves the area where you live. It looks like you live or in Bangkok or in a province somewhere in Thailand. Do the TM30 in the province and you can do the Extension there.
