ORIGINAL POSTER
I have the DTV visa

I'm buying a new scooter from Honda garage, and they need a copy of my residence permit.

I don't yet have this.

I am currently in a sublet. The original Thai landlord can peovide me TM30, copy of their title deeds and ID, but the rental agreement is between them and the person I am subletting from.

Is it possible in this circumstance for me to get the residency certificate?

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user with a DTV visa seeks advice on obtaining a residency certificate in Thailand, as their landlord can provide necessary documentation (TM30, title deeds, ID), but they lack a direct rental agreement due to subletting. Answers indicate that obtaining a residency certificate is possible with a TM30, and additional documents like a passport and photos may also be required. Several users shared their experiences and outlined necessary steps, confirming that a formal lease is not always needed.

Did my Residence Permit at Pattaya Imigration

Bring a Blue Pen

A photocopy of your Passport

A photocoppy of the Visa Stamp

A TM30

A TM47

On the application form you have the option of Carr/Bike licence

Buy/sell Bike/Car

Other

If you tick all the boxes you will need Four Passport Photos, one for each form and one for the file and I was charged 600thb for Two Forms. it was about a 2 Hour wait for the Doccuments.

Hope this helps

You don’t get a TM.30 from your immigration. You register one and get a residence certificate

For motorbike register, you can take your TM30 to immigration office and ask for resident cert. It might take 15-30 working day to post back to your home address (as shown on TM30)

×× bring your passport size photo, passport, and 100 baht
