Ok so I am looking to get a residency certificate to buy a bike and the immigration center I went to asked me for the usual stuff (tm30, passport, photo) but also for all my dtv docs, meaning bank statements and Muay Thai course. Problem is I am in an island in the south and my Muay Thai course is in the North. What to do?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking advice on obtaining a residency certificate necessary to buy a bike in Thailand while facing challenges related to document requirements for their Muay Thai course located in the north, as they are currently on an island in the south. A variety of responses were provided, suggesting that different immigration offices may have varying requirements, and some recommended alternatives such as using an agent or clarifying the necessity of the certificate for the bike registration.
You are part of the reason why people with genuine applications are struggling now or that we might have to provide all the paperwork again in the future. Thank you
it might effect the schools issuing paperwork and not needing people to attend too. Might lose licenses or ability to have DTVs approved. Immigration might start checking attendance or schools to keep records like with Ed.
I think residence certificate might be least of your worries if you get an inquisitive IO at reentry noticing where you live and where your gym is. I am assuming you would not attempt extension down south.
there is another immigration office in another island nearby. Do you reckon i could get my residency certificate in a different island still using my original TM30?
I didn't realise you were Gregs wife or you were talking on behalf of 24k people. If you had too many Changs tonight and regretting life choices don't release your frustration on people you don't know life stories and complexities. Why offloading your anger on others? Anonymous participant I don't drink. I'm simply making my own observation, no emotion involved. The OP doesn't appear to be anywhere near or plan to be where their course is. A couple group rules refer to not circumventing visa rules.

Anonymous participant nobody wants to help you squirm your way through this predicament while you're obviously not complying with the intended purpose of your visa.
Anonymous participant my friend convinced me I could do a 90 day report online and then I got denied and had to do it in person. I was in Bangkok and got hassled for having a CM address while visiting my BFs family in BKK while doing my 90 day report - the way around was to check into a hotel for one night and have them register a tm 30 and use that address when filing - if you already have a tm 30 in the city where you file your 90 day report in person I wouldn’t worry
Anonymous participant 690 thanks that's actually a good work around if I keep having consistent issues with my local immigration and have to go to a different one on another island. Still wondering if they will create issues with my dtv soft power school being in the north while my tm30 / local immigration is in the south
Anonymous participant sounds like you paid for a Muay Thai training course, obtained the DTV visa, and are doing your training via ZOOM video chat with the gym ??? .
Did you obtain the DTV visa... With no intent to do Muay Thai training???
IF your gym is in Chiang Mai, why are you in South Thailand ???
