If my interview is on Tuesday morning, (5th), can I get letter and update bank book today, (4th), or does it have to be dated the same day as the interview appointment ? 

Hi all, got my interview booked on Tuesday for my first attempt at extension of stay, (marriage). Does anybody have an example of the letter their bank provided re the 400k for min 2 months method ? I am going to bank on Monday and just pre-empting that they will look at me with their usual blank expressions when I ask for the required letter from them. (Pink Lao bank branch). If you have a redacted example of what you used it may make it easier trying to explain to them. Cheers.

In Bangkok the standard bank letter can be up to 7 days old,

BUT

You need to update your bank passbook on the date you apply for your extension (an copy all the pages in the book)

I would do it at the bank branches located at chaeng wattana (assuming your interview is also there). I am sure they will know the required document.

The letter from Bangkok Bank is a standard template that confirms your bank balance on the day. Your bank book confirms the money has been in there for 2 months. I dont know about other banks but BB should know what you require. Cost was 100bt last time I got one.
