Can I use a bank letter from one day before and update my bank book on the same day for my yearly extension in Thailand?

I know that SCB Branch office is no more at Chaeng Wattana Government Complex (ID1), and we are adviced to use one at Big C. I will be going to do my yearly extension next week and need updated book bank and statement. My question is: can bank letter and statement be dated from one day before and book bank updated at the machine downstairs, if there is any? Thanks for help in advance!!

The bank letter can be up to 7 days old BUT you need to update your bank book on the date you apply

There is NO passbook updating machine for SCB in the basement of Chaengwattana. You need to stop by an SCB branch on the day you go to get your extension and update the book.

you don't NEED to use that particular branch of SCB. That's just the closest one to C/W

Find one near your house and update the passbook before you slog out there.. .

Of course, I know. Just wanted to be at CW around 9.30 to take queue number and then go to bank. Otherwise I will be at CW at 11.00 and stucked there until late afternoon...

I don't understand... most branches have ATM/CDM/PUM corner open for 24 hours so you don't have to wait for the store to open (or you can do once clock hit the day and before you go to bed if you are a night bird)...... There is not any branch near your place?

MRT Phra Ram 9 - all the branches are at shopping malls, open from 10am. But yes, I know that there are some PUMs available outside, will look for one - thanks!
