On Monday I will go to CW to apply for a 12month extension to my Marriage (O) Visa. For the Bank Guarantee document (and printouts) showing 400k, must these be dated on the same day as the application, or is 2 or 3 days before acceptable? One issue for me is that SCB no longer have a branch at CW and I have to wait for nearby branch to open at 8.30am which causes delay in getting a queue number (assuming there is a long queue). Thanks in advance.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking clarification on the date requirements for a Bank Guarantee document needed for applying for a 12-month extension to a Marriage (O) Visa in Thailand. They inquire whether documents dated 2 or 3 days prior to the application are acceptable, given the logistical challenges they face in obtaining these documents swiftly due to the closure of a nearby bank branch.
The "regular" bank letter can be up to 7 days old.
They shouldn't require a year print out because there is no requirement to keep the money in the account on a marriage extension like there is for an extension based on retirement.
You will need to update your bank book so it shows the balance on the date you apply (so that will need to be done before you get out to C/W).
For information only. I know this is a different IO. But in Chiang Mai, if you go first thing in the morning, they will accept the bank book being updated the day before.
I've done it and know others who have without a problem. May be different at other offices.
Sadly, there is zero tolerance on that "bank book needs to show the balance the day you apply" rule at Chaengwattana. :/ You do it before you queue up OR you get sent away to get it done.
