Hi all, 12 month extension of stay, (marriage), coming up and having to try and juggle appointments etc around Songkran holidays.
Just a question re the bank letter confirming my 400K in my account, (separate account which remains untouched all year). Does anybody know how far in advance of my appointment I can get the letter from the bank ? The list of required docs from CW specifys the letter required, but is a bit light on details such as lead time etc.
Thanks in advance of any responses.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquired about how far in advance they can obtain a bank letter confirming their 400K baht for a 12-month marriage extension, especially considering the upcoming Songkran holidays. Responses clarified that at CW (an immigration office), a bank letter is acceptable if it's up to 7 days old, but the age limit may vary by province, with some accepting only 3 days or the day of application. It's advised to confirm with the local immigration office.
Thank you members. As written above, this post is about CW and CW only. This is not going to be the post about which immigration has xx days old bank letter policy.
At CW, a bank letter is acceptable up to 7 days old including an issued date.
dear members, other provinces have different limits on the bank letter "age". Some accept up to 7 days like CW, some accept 3 days, and some accept only the day of application. Please check with your local immigration office how old the bank letter can be.
