TLDR : Answer Summary
A traveler from the UK inquiring about extending their 90-day trip to Thailand received various responses. Generally, while you can obtain a 60-day tourist visa and extend it for an additional 30 days, it is not possible to extend a tourist visa for 60 days once you are in Thailand. Extensions for a tourist visa are typically for 30 days only. Additionally, there was a discussion regarding the Non-O visa, which can be extended for up to one year if eligibility requirements are met.
NON-O RETIREMENT VISA RESOURCES / SERVICES
Go to the Retirement Visa Section for information on requirements, including age restrictions, financial requirements, and necessary documentation.
For immediate assistance, contact Thai Visa Centre directly via LINE at @ThaiVisaCentre or Email them.
Explore recent discussions by using the Non-O Retirement Visa tag in the search box at the top of the page.
Non Os can be extended for one year as long as you meet the requirements to do so.

An extension in Thailand is for 30 days only. Cost is approx £45 (1900 baht). A 60 day tourist visa is £30.

You can do a free visa exemption entry for 30 days and then opt for an extension or another border bounce for free (with travel costs). You can do two land border bounces in one calendar year.

No you can get a 60 day tourist visa then extend for another 30 days, giving you 90 days in total. But you can’t get a 60 day extension in Thailand.

You need to apply for a tourist visa from the evisa system.
This will give you 60 days on entry to Thailand and you can apply one time for a 30 day extension.
Royal Vacation is a travel company that can sort your visa out for you. Not cheap, and you still have to send them all the documents the embassy require, but they’re very reliable 😊
download a app called Image Converter that’s what I had to do on. iPhone. Transfer your pictures over and then copy paste back to the form. Yes it was not very easy to do, but I got there in the end.
