Hi everyone! I have a Dutch passport and will come to train in Hua Hin for three months. I can enter 30 days visa free. Question: is there a way to prolong my visa for another 60 days (if yes; where/how?), or is +30 days the max and I'd need to do one border run? Thanks for any input!

TLDR : Answer Summary
A Dutch passport holder can initially enter Thailand without a visa for 30 days. To extend this stay, it is recommended to obtain a tourist visa from a local Thai embassy or consulate, which provides 60 days upon arrival and can be extended for an additional 30 days. Alternatively, a border run is another option for extending the stay beyond the initial visa-free period.

You have to call ahead because to me it wasn't clear where I had to go in the Netherlands for a visa. They have two places (The Hague and Amsterdam). Don't know if it's still like that but just call them to know where you should go :-)
As Dylan said, get a tourist visa from your local Thai consulate. 60 days on arrival which you can extend for a further 30 days. Beware that your airline may have issues if you don’t have a ticket out of Thailand within the 60 days. You may want to contact them to check if you’d need a cheap/throw away ticket out of Thailand just to be able to board the plane.
In my experience, airlines are cool if you have a visa. It's when you try to board without one they may ask for onward travel (within 30 days in that case.)
