Can I extend my 60-day visa exemption in Thailand for a total of 90 days?

Hi, guys! My passport gets 60 days visa exemption when entering the country. Back in the day (like until a few months ago), most passports would get 30 visa exemption then you would extent another 30 days. Is still rule still going? I didn’t manage to find a yes or no answer. So if I’m entering now as mentioning above, will I be able to extent another 30 days, for a total of 90 days?

Thanks in advance!

TLDR : Answer Summary
Yes, if you enter Thailand with a 60-day visa exemption, you are eligible to extend for an additional 30 days, bringing your total stay to 90 days. Extensions have remained unchanged, allowing one 30-day extension per visa exempt entry.

Once your 90 days is up step out of Thailand for a few days. Fly down to KL for a couple of nights then return to Thailand. You will get another 60 days visa exempt entry and then extend that by another 30 days. 180 days all up.

Nothing has changed about extensions. Each visa exempt entry is eligible for one 30-day extension.
