I have been unable to get my 60 day visa in the uk. Due to Christmas closure. After entering and getting my thirty days. Can I just go over the border to get another 30 days. Do I have to go on the 30th day or how long before the thirty days are up

TLDR : Answer Summary
You can extend your stay in Thailand for an additional 30 days by visiting an Immigration Office before your current visa expires, or by leaving the country and re-entering for a new 30-day visa exempt entry. However, be aware that you can only perform the latter option twice a year using land borders, and ensure you have proof of onward travel when flying.

Hello you can extend for 30 days for 1900 baht at any immergration office in thailand. However be cautious airliners may deny you boarding your flight without proof of onwards travel before your 30 day exempt expires.

You can visit an Immigration Office anytime before your last day and apply for a 30 day Extension of Stay, which will be added onto your stay. Or you can leave any day Thailand before the last day and come back to get a new 30 day Visa Exempt Entry, but be aware you can only do this twice calendar year by using land borders.
