TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquires about extending their stay in Thailand on a 3-month tourist visa, specifically if they can secure an additional 30 days through a border run after the initial visa expires. A commenter clarifies that they can extend their 60-day stay by another 30 days at an immigration office, and afterward, they can perform a border run to obtain a further 30-day visa-exempt stamp.

Garrett Greenwald. The single entry tourist visa is valid for 3 months from the date of issue but the one entry only gets you stamped in for 60 days

You can extend your 60 days by another 30 at an immigration office in thailand, then do a border run for a further 30 visa exempt stamp.
