Can a Dutch passport holder extend their 30-day stamp received from a land border crossing into Thailand?

Hello! My roommate just did the border crossing by land in Malaysia. She got the 30 day stamp. Its been a while since ive had that stamp but if I remember correctly she can extend that ones right? Or rules changed? Dutch passport

YES she got a 30 day visa exempt entry into Thailand as a Dutch passport holder. She can get one 30 day extension of stay at her local Thai immigration office for 1900 Thai baht.
