Hi all, I am from the Netherlands and I want to go on holiday to Thailand for 70 days. What type of visa do I need and can I extend it during my stay? If so, which documents do I need for this? thank you in advance

If you are over 50 you can get a Non-O Visa which gives you a 90 day entry stamp but a 12 month extension has financial requirements

he might need a financial proof for the application to the 90 days Non-Imm-O visa, not only for the application to the extension. I can't open the website of the Thai Embassy in The Hague to check, though

Also from the Netherlands you will need a tourist visa 60 days and then extend internally at immigration for another 30 days. The Netherlands has evisa and their fast

This will give you 60 days when you arrive in Thailand and you can apply one time for a 30 day extension. That will cover your 70 days without needing to leave Thailand.
