Hi all,

I'm Dutch and currently in bangkok on an extension of my single entry 60 day tourist visa. Originally planned to leave Thailand after 90 days but having a great time here.

What would be good advise to have another 90 days in Thailand?

- 2 border bounces and extend that with 30 days each?

- Or visa run to say Vientiane and apply for single / multiple entry visa at thai embassy? And will that work with my Dutch passport?

I wish to have the safest option, play by the rules and prevent immegration issues when entering and extending.

Thanks!

TLDR : Answer Summary
A Dutch tourist currently on a single entry 60-day visa in Thailand seeks advice on how to extend their stay for another 90 days. Suggestions include performing two border bounces to receive a 30-day Visa Exempt stamp and a possible 30-day extension at a local immigration office, as well as considering a visa run to Vientiane to apply for a new tourist visa, although the METV is only available in the home country.

Two LAND BORDER BOUNCES will get you 30 day Visa Exempt STAMP on arrival plus One 30 day extension of stay at your local Thai Immigration office for 1900 Thai baht.

The METV multiple entry tourist visa is ONLY available in your home country.

Suggest you use an experienced border run service company to take you to the Thai border cross and re-enter the same day.

Good Luck with your plan. ๐Ÿ€
