I just arrived in yesterday in Thailand as a Norwegian citizen on the 30 day visa exemption program.
Funnily enough, according to this article - yesterday Norway was added to a 60 day visa exemption program.
Does anyone know if my 30 day stamp (from the 15th of July) can be extended online or, even better, is valid for 60 days?
From what I can tell reading through this group the Visa rules are often quite tricky here - so I may be asking a bit much. Very happy if someone could point me in the direction of a good visa advisor :)

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user, a Norwegian citizen, is seeking clarification on whether their 30-day visa stamp can be extended online or if they qualify for the new 60-day exemption, which takes effect after their arrival. Responses indicate that since the user entered before the new rule was implemented, they are subject to the 30-day stamp, and extensions can only be done in person at a local immigration office.
Unfortunately, it sounds like you got only a 30 day stamp. From reports, the switch from 30 to 60 days happened at 4pm local time. So anyone stamped in before 4pm would be under the old rules. You just missed out.
The new stamp started at 4pm. If you entered Thailand before that you have a 30 day stamp. You are subject to the rules you entered on. You get 30 days and you can apply one time for a 30 day extension at your local immigration office.
