Hi, I have been digging but could not really find it, when I arrived I got 45 days visa stamp right, wan to stay longer, I know there is a one time 30 days visa exemption, but I need to stay more than 30 days. Is there a possibility to apply online for a 60 days tourist visas from thailand or do I need to go to the borders and enter Thailand again?

Thank you very much,

Kira

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user wants to know if it's possible to apply for a 60-day tourist visa online while already in Thailand after receiving a 45-day visa stamp. Responses indicate that it's not possible to apply for a tourist visa within Thailand; the user can take a one-time 30-day extension for a fee at the immigration office, and afterward, may need to exit and re-enter Thailand to obtain a new 45-day stamp.

You cannot get a tourist visa inside thailand, period end of story.

Take your one 30 day extension for 1900baht at the immigration office and then exit/re-enter the country to get a new 45 day stamp.

As a general rule

no you can get out and right back

BUT

with that being said, some countries and some borders have rules that you have to spend a night IN that country before you can come back.

So choose your border bounce location carefully and post on a group related to where you stay in thailand to ask for recommendations
