Going to Thailand for 5 and half months. I am going on a "O"visa ( married to Thai lady) .My understanding is I will get 3 months first then after there will try to get extension. Can I book return trip at five and half months from the get go  or do I have to keep it within  the first 3 months and then change it. Thanks in advance.

ok thanks main thing is if want to stay more than the 90 days given can i extend in thailand or would need go out and return, trying to avoid to much ASQ

obtaining a visa from an overseas embassy has totally different requirements to applying for an extension of stay in the country.

working overseas with salary deposited in thai account when got visa from oman embassy only requested 6 months statement

either 400,000 in a Thai bank under your name only for 2 months prior to applying or proof of international transfers every month of at least 40,000 baht for the last 12 months that is assuming you’re not working here and earning at least 40k with proper taxes paid.
