Hello. I got the 90 day visa based on marriage, but won’t be able to apply for the 9 month extension in time due to an issue outside my control. Do I need to cancel my current visa before I leave the country (like with an education visa)?
TLDR : Answer Summary
If you have a 90-day Non-O visa based on marriage, you do not need to cancel your visa before leaving Thailand. Your visa allows you to stay for the full duration of 90 days, and upon departure, the visa will automatically cancel without the need for additional procedures. However, if you were considering extending your stay beyond the initial 90 days, you have the option to apply for a family visit extension or an additional 60 days before your leave.
