My current marriage visa extension permits me to stay in Thailand until June 6, 2019. I want to extend this visa for another year. When do I have to go immigration to apply for another extension? Can I go on June 6?

TLDR : Answer Summary
To extend your marriage visa, you can apply during the 30-day period before your current visa expires, making May 7 the earliest date. It's advisable not to wait until the last day to ensure you have all necessary documentation. In some cases, especially if your marriage occurred years ago, you might need an updated Kor Ror 2 document from an amphur. Be aware that you cannot apply for a new extension if you currently have an extension application under consideration.
If I apply to extend the visa when I am already on an extension, does immigration give me an additional 30 days while the application is under consideration?
so lets say I get another extension for 1 year. Does the new permitted to stay date have anything to do with the date I apply or does it extend from the previous permitted to stay date?
Or do I read this completely wrong and do you mean you have at the moment an Extension of Stay which is in the last 30 days. You like to apply for a new Extension of Stay based on being married to a Thai National. If this is the correct than yes, your new application will go 30 days under consideration.
NO, you can not apply for a new Extension of Stay when your Extension of Stay application is under consideration. You just wait till the day mentioned in the stamp in your passport and report at your local Immigration Office.
I can strongly recommend to apply as early as possible, as Tod advised 30 days for Udon Thani. 30 days will include day of application and your last permitted to stay day. In case of any problem / paperwork needed in addition, you will have time to do this.
IF you got married many years ago, some immigration offices are requiring you get an updated Kor Ror 2 (ค.ร. ๒) which you can get from any amphur in the country (seeing as they're FINALLY all connected to each other).
do you know ,can you get this paper without the Thai marriagepaper when you have only your marriage paper from your home country ( Germany ). But translated in Thai and testified by the German Embassy 25 years ago.?
I believe that you can apply for a new yearly extension when you have 30 days or less left on your current extension stamp. So if your extension expires on June 6th the soonest you could do it would be the 7th of May.
I wouldn't wait until the last day to apply (not unless you're 100% sure that every i is dotted and every t is crossed with your documentation. Waiting until the last day and then finding out you need another piece of documentation can be frustrating..
