I need to renew my extension of stay based on marriage to a Thai national. How long before it expires do I need to apply? Is the 2 month seasoning of the 400k 2 months before the expiration date or the application date? Thank you!

TLDR : Answer Summary
To renew your extension of stay based on marriage to a Thai national, you can apply when you have 30 days or less left on your current visa. The 2-month seasoning period for the required funds applies from the date you apply for the new extension, not from the expiration date of your current visa.

At MOST immigration offices you can apply for a new yearly extension when you have 30 days or less left on your current stamp.

As far as the seasoning of funds using banked money method for a marriage extension you need the funds to be in the bank for 2 months from the date you APPLY for the new extension, not 2 months before the date your current extensions expires.
