TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion revolves around whether one qualifies as a shareholder to obtain a 1-year Non-B visa at the Thai consulate in Kuala Lumpur (KL) and inquiries about extending a 90-day visa in Koh Samui. Commenters confirm the possibility of obtaining a 7-day extension at immigration, with some needing to provide proof of travel. However, it's noted that KL does not offer 1-year Non-B visas, which are available only under specific conditions at the Penang consulate.

Yes you can get 7 days

As far as the 7 day application for extension denied stamp for 1900baht you can certainly get that at the immigration office although some want proof you're leaving the country in the next 7 days.

AFAIK; the thai consulate in KL does NOT issue year-long, multi-entry Non-B visas, only 90 day single entry ones. The only consulate that did issue them was the Penang consulate and they made a rule that you have to be a managing director OR hold at least 20% of the shares in a company.

I just got my work permit for my company as I was working on another WP all last year as an employee . Booking Pangang flight tonight, I can’t ride in those vans , I get car sick and nervous !! Thank you!!
Sounds like the consulate in Penang is for you. Remember you need at least 8 months left on your work permit AND the consulate is closing on April 2 until further notice (probably 4 or 5 days) because they are moving buildings.
