I have a 3 month non imm. B visa and work permit on a new company of which I am a shareholder and Director. This is the first visa issued and I will have to do something before July 1. Can I extend this to a 1 year with multiple reentry here in Samui or do I have to leave again and get a whole new b visa? Thanks

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is inquiring about extending their 3-month Non-Immigrant B visa and work permit as a shareholder and director of a company. They need clarification on whether they can extend the visa to a 1-year duration with multiple re-entries in Koh Samui or if they must leave the country to obtain a new visa. The comments suggest that if documentation for extension is not met, visiting a Thai consulate in Penang for a new multi-entry Non-B visa is an option, which would require border-bouncing every 90 days.

If you are unable to meet the documentation requirement at the immigration office for a yearly extension you could go to the thai consulate in Penang and get a year-long, multi-entry Non-B visa.
That visa would require you to border-bounce (exit/re-enter the country) every 90 days..
You would take documentation from your company to the immigration office there and apply for a yearly extension of stay for 1900baht. Stop by there before your current stamp expires and get the hand out of what's required for the extension.
I have gone before for other things and found that if I go there the day before get all the docs ready then go 15 mins before they open I am out of there really quickly
Samui immigration here in Mae Nam are oddly efficient and speedy. They will have you in and out in under an hour. Best to go at 09:00, before the rush.
