FYI

1 Year NON B multiple entry possibly only possible as DIRECTOR. I'm just back from Penang with only 90 days and single entry. I am employee / share holder 49% . 4 people applied for a 1 year NON B. Only one, a Director got the 1 year. Me and an other was first given 1 year but made VIOD. The next page in the pasport was a 90 day VISA. On the embassy we where told that you have to be director in some way.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion highlights the difficulties faced in obtaining a 1-year NON-B visa in Thailand, particularly for employees who are not directors. A participant shares their experience of applying for a 1-year NON-B visa alongside three others, where only a director successfully received it. They detail returning from Penang with only a 90-day visa and mention that a visa previously granted was made void. Comments indicate a shared frustration regarding the consistency of visa rules, with some users suggesting applying for an extension directly in Thailand but recounting previous rejections.

You can not change a visa from 3 months to one year in Thailand. Only thing you can do is 30 days before your last Admitted to Stay date apply for the 1 year Extension of Stay.
