Yes, exactly. You need to have:

1. A valid Vietnam visa/entry stamp

2. Your actual address in Ho Chi Minh City (hotel or apartment)

3. Be physically present in the consulate's jurisdiction area (for HCMC consulate it's Southern Vietnam)

I used my apartment address in HCMC, but a hotel address works too - just make sure you're actually staying there during the application process.

Yes, I put my Vietnam address as current location. Important note: you need to be physically present in the jurisdiction of the consulate you select during application (in my case, Ho Chi Minh City consulate). So your current location should match the consulate's jurisdiction you're applying through.

I didn't need to get an Authentication/Apostille from the State Department. The company provided me with their Certificate of Status directly from the Department of State, which includes an online verification code.

I applied online and selected Ho Chi Minh City consulate during the application process. Didn't need to visit the consulate in person - everything was done through the e-Visa system.

You're absolutely right - I apologize for the confusion in my post. There is indeed no minimum income requirement for DTV, only the 500,000 THB bank balance requirement. Thank you for the correction! 🙏
