For Thai nationals marrying a foreigner:

1. Obtain a Single Status Certificate:

This certificate is issued by Thai government authorities (e.g., the district office or "Amphur") and must be translated into English or the language of the destination country.

2. Translation and Certification:

The translated certificate needs to be certified by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the respective embassy of the destination country…. My fiancé and I had no luck at the. Amphur’s office today….
