thanks for mentioning that. Before I went to Hanoi I went to CW to get a reentry and to find out how to get registered to do TM 30 online. The officer did another TM 30 which I found strange as the existing one was still in force. When I got back I could not get online for the TM 30. All I could get was TM 47. So I went back to CW and queued for 2 hours. That was when the officer told me that the new,TM 30 done the week before was good for the year. This TM 30 is a pain and I question why it s there in the first place.

i was told at CW that the TM 30 was good for a year and I could fly in and out of Thailand as much as I like in that year.

There are some things here that annoy and frustrate me but I m sure these issues would be eclipsed by a lot of what goes on in my own country. I think the author presented what we all really know and mostly agree with very well.

If you are flying in without a visa they are looking at onward travel as are the airline. Does doing a land border run get round this problem

I was told by an officer at immigration that you only need to do a new TM 30 is if your address or visa changes. Therefore you can go in an d out of the country as much as you like and not report in the year your visa is valid and you are at the same address
