Thank you. I am sure it can be done as many did it before. I am just not happy about the German way. Why can't Germany just issue a document stating that I am free to marry (as in not / never been married) - like many other countries do and leave the rest to the Thai laws and authorities? Why does Germany think it is their business to check even if the THAI person I marry is free to marry, if I am not even getting married in Germany? What a bureaucratic mess.
Hong Kong hatte ich auch schon gehört. Weißt Du, was dort genau benötigt wird? Hatte gelesen, dass neben Pässen auch beide Geburtsurkunden benötigt werden. Und die Heiratsurkunde aus Hong Kong müsste dann natürlich auch übersetzt und beglaubigt werden für die beiden jeweiligen Heimatländer Thailand und Deutschland. Aber sicher schon mal weniger Aufwand.
Yes, I know. But it is only one document that can be quickly obtained and then translated and verified. That would be much more within reason than what Germany makes one do.
