Interesting, I have been assuming we needed an appointment all along. This is encouraging, I don't feel rushed to get an appointment now and I'm sure I can get the proof of employment figured out before then. Thanks for your help!

What is the process for proving bank account balance for a METV application without paper statements?

Interesting, I guess I'll check directly with the embassy and hope it doesn't change in the meantime. I feel like I've read a lot about getting statements "stamped" but maybe that was for accounts within Thailand/retirement visas or something.
