Hello! My wife and I are looking to be applying for a METV in the coming months, and I had a question about showing the balance in your bank account.
We have an account with a bank that doesn't send paper statements, and there aren't any actual bank locations where I can go in and speak with a teller etc.
Does anyone have experience with using an account like this to prove their account balance? If I print out the e-statements, will they accept that at the embassy?
I just want to see how this part of the process works, as we're getting close to 6 months out from the application date and I need to make sure we don't need to move things between accounts in order to do this the right way.
Thank you for any information you can provide!
TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquires about the acceptability of e-statements as proof of bank account balance for a METV application since their bank does not provide paper statements or physical branches. Community members share their experiences, suggesting that printed e-statements and screen captures have been accepted by various embassies, with advice to confirm directly with the specific embassy.
