in this case Labour issues.. but if you step back and see the bigger picture not only in Thailand but most countries the govt always portray themselves as acting upon the people’s safety and well-being but as you mentioned those issues might not be a priority to the population
never thought of it that way but makes sense.. cause most of the times reading the news it always seem like it’s the people who are scared and the government is enacting laws to address the public concern
true..or maybe they are giving the heads up to the local population that more foreign skilled workers might be coming and not be scared of loosing jobs to the foreigners
funny thing is I actually posted a comment on the PMDU thailand page and surprisingly I got a reply to that.. I feel the whole hubbub was started by a post that called this the digital nomad visa... that started the whole assumption game
True.. but this kind of gives an expectation so all the people be it digital nomads, startup people know what to expect.. hopefully after this people on fb groups will be nicer to others who are interested in this visa especially digital nomads
