Your new employer should be able to advise on this, especially since 1. you resigned from your previous job, and 2. you are relocating... TO TAKE UP EMPLOYMENT WITH THEM.

The following delayed me in 2015... either your employer can provide you with proof of paying tax for you, or you need to take your tax card + WP + passport to your local tax office, and pay your own tax instead, and keep the receipt. DON'T be stressed if you have to do the latter; one year here compared with back home is peanuts. :)

. And do I really need to have had a minimum of £5k GBP in a UK bank account for 6 months, or will 2 months suffice, please?
