isn't it more anti British to think 45,000 foreigners can take over Britain than it is to say they can't??

@Tony ********
45,009 is a lot less than 1.2 million. Have you looked at the 2024 budget?

It assumes that we have net inward migration of 300,000 wage earners pa for the next 5 years and relies on income tax, NI and VAT receipts from their economic activity to pay for our services without excessive government borrowing.

45,000 pa come by small boat. Over the past 3 years that totals 135,000 some of whom have died, left (eg to RoI), deported or granted asylum. The other 1.1 million increase in UK population has arrived by regular means in line with government policies and laws.

they need to take and pass a TEFL Course before they are qualified for that.

Fortunately they are short courses.

And I got my TM 30s from all 3 hotels I asked with no problem and the friend I stayed with the other time just needed a little help online.

@Mark ********
depends on how many long stay guests the hotel has. The new rules most immigration offices are pushing mean anyone wanting a 30 day extension to stay on in Thailand needs a TM30 copy. Some ex-pats in condos and apartments being let by some private landlords get told stay in a hotel for the night to get the TM30 for your 90 day report.

I've needed a TM30 for immigration 4 times out of 5 stays since covid.

You can stay out of Thailand the rest of your life. The last day you could go back in on that visa is the date on your relevant entry stamp.

@Mark ********
still a legal requirement for any host to submit a TM30 and liable for fines if they don't. If it's really a hotel it will have a business licence.

All the advice you have been given about getting the 30 day extension to avoid an overstay is correct.

In case you don't know the first day you arrive - even if it's after 11 pm - is day one (not day 0) so the 30 days is up on what you may otherwise count as day 29 of your holiday.
