you really do miss the point-- the "Google" answer had absolutely nothing to do with trying to be original. It was in its simplicity, the absolute best answer available. I can see why you may need such groups to answer ur questions as it appears you don't understand how Google works.
so, u believe that regardless of how available, and likely more accurate the information might be found on govt sites, you think playing the enabler role is actually helpful?? C'mon, fess up, ur actually providing answers to get a thrill for yourself , help to the op is secondary.
because it is actually more helpful to direct someone, not "elsewhere", but to google, so they can learn where to find more detailed and accurate information, rather than be an enabler and jump to answer a question someone can easily answer for themselves. I realize, of course, for those who don't have much going on in their lives and get a thrill out of playing the Thai expert (while often, poster's questions lead to contradictory comments that are then argued about) are actually doing the poster a disservice. Teach them to fish, or just....
