 each bank account has around 10k (or less) us$ and it's been like that for ages. Taiwanese employers kinda force you to open a bank account with the bank they are familiar with so that they can avoid paying extra fees when they pay your salary...

 I actually have those funds in 3 "proper" taiwanese banks. From what I read it seems that it won't be an issue then
