 thank you. It was just weird to see zero interest over past 11 months on a 6 digit balance. Maybe now that we are settled in I should tryshop around d for another bank.

 thank you. If I understand you correctly, the 800k needs to be in a savings account but I could open an investment account (on O-A visa) that would give interest on additional money.
