~ The single entry visa from the LA Consulate is already $80.00. The extension is another 1900 baht. So it's only a $60.00 difference in price. Was just giving him options as I've done it both ways.

~ Based on my experience I would recommend paying the $200.00 and getting the multi-entry Non-O in the U.S good for one year. Before the first 90 days are up you will need to travel out & back into Thailand to activate another 90 days. I find the 60-day extension based on marriage in country to be quite a lot of time & paperwork. Book a round trip to Luang Prabang from Chiang Mai or Penang from Bkk & enjoy a mini holiday or just border bounce Chiang Khong to Huay xai, Laos and back in the same day.
